Front panel/keypad assembly

The keypad (P/N 83389-00S for TDL 450H or 83389-10S for Vantage Pro) enables you to:

• Change the transceiver’s configuration.
• Move through the menus shown in the display.
• Seal the area around the display through-hole.

If you need to remove the front panel, the keypad is destroyed as it covers the mounting screws. You do not need to remove the front panel to change any other part of the TDL 450H / Vantage Pro transceiver.
You should only remove the keypad if it has failed, as the process is destructive. To verify that it has failed, access the unit through the back panel and substitute a known good keypad.
